S.O.A.R. Guidelines for Success
Crestwood Middle School is committed to establishing a safe environment where the focus is on academics. It is important that as Eagles we take flight together in understanding and learning these Guidelines for Success. “Attitude Determines Altitude.”

Safety, Organization, Achievement, Responsibility
- Running in hallways or walkways is not permitted.
- Gum and candy are not permitted on campus. (This includes the cafeteria.)
- Food and drinks are not permitted outside of the cafeteria.
- Once on school grounds, students are expected to remain on campus.
- Students are not permitted to show public displays of affection.
- Slam books are prohibited and will be confiscated and destroyed.
- Matches, cigarette lighters, firecrackers, and similar objects are prohibited.
- Cell phones are allowed, but must be turned off and placed in student backpacks. Failure to do so will result in confiscation. Parents will be required to pick up confiscated items.
- The following items should not be brought to school: electronic devices included but are not limited to: iPod, iTouch, voice/video recording devices, cameras, gaming devices, aerosol deodorants, chained wallets or collars, white out, permanent markers, and hair spray. These items will be confiscated and must be claimed within 30 days. Administration is not responsible after that time.
- The selling of any item not authorized by the school is prohibited.
- Students are expected to display appropriate and respectful behavior at all times and to be prepared for class every day.
- Students must be in attendance for classes during the day in order to participate in any afternoon or evening activity.
