Pre-Business IT Academy

The Pre-Business /IT Academy features an innovative, integrated, and rigorous cluster of academic courses that focus on one of the world’s fastest growing industries: Business and Information Technology. The Pre-Business/Information Technology Academy will serve as a pathway for academy students to matriculate to high school business academies as well as serve as an academic springboard for students that wish to successfully transition into the business and information technology workforce.

Industry Certification

Academy students will take the Computing for College and Careers course, which includes proficiency with computer programs and the integration of these programs using software that meets industry standards.
This course is a high-school credit course which culminates with the IC3 Industry certification exams and serves as a gateway for entry into feeder high school academies.
