Multimedia, Music, and Communications

The Multimedia, Music, and Communications program provides students with an opportunity to combine live performance such as band, strings, choral, theater, and technology to explore and develop their personal creativity and prepare for a career in today’s art entertainment and multimedia industries. Students participate in one or more of the program strands, including: communication arts, digital graphic design, music-band, keyboard—piano, strings, vocal, and theatre.

Pre-Business/Information Technology

The Pre–Business IT Academy provides an educational setting dedicated to the development of academic, social, and creative skills with the goal of creating responsible citizens. Students are introduced to the field of business and related careers through the use of information technology. Students participate in the co–curricular student organization, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), where they may earn certificates and awards for their student portfolios as well as earn an Internet Business Associate Certificate in their final year at the Pre–Business IT Academy.

Pre-Engineering

The Pre–Engineering curriculum provides a project–based, hands–on learning approach that is exciting and fun for students in grades 6–8. Classroom experiences relate technology to students’ daily lives. It also promotes communication and collaboration by emphasizing a team approach in the instructional units. The approach utilizes the strengths of each team member to accomplish the goals of the project, while offering students learning challenges at all ability levels.
