Thanks for stopping at my page. I am so proud to be an Eagle and a part of this amazing team here at Crestwood Middle School! I have been in the culinary industry for over fifteen years. I received my formal training from Le Cordon Bleu, where I graduated with honors. I have worked in both the front and back of the house. I have opened several restaurants; partnered a restaurant in Florida and owned a fine dining restaurant in Atlanta. In both establishments, I have won awards and have received high reviews. I have had the privilege of developing restaurant concepts, menus, procedures, and training staff in new restaurant concepts.

I am passionate about food. When I was a child my grandmother said to me, “Nathan, if you want to get to know someone, sit down and have a meal with them. You will learn about their culture and personal preferences based on what they choose to eat, and how they eat it.” This has influenced me in my culinary career. My greatest joy comes when a guest leaves my establishment having had an exceptional experience wanting to come back — and soon!

I value developing and training people, helping them to reach their full potential. I enjoy presenting new opportunities and experiences to others, watching them expand their horizons. Classrooms are a great avenue for this, allowing interaction and exploration to flourish. It is important to me to work in a high energy, enthusiastic environment where the atmosphere is both professional and fun.
